The booking opened on Saturday morning and the pace of the tickets sold has been very solid. The advance sales for Day 1 (15th August) in National Chains (Pvr, Inox and Cinepolis) is already 20,000 plus.
Highest Sales in National Chains this year has been Mr and Mrs Mahi which was 2,15,000 but that was at spwecial price of Rs.99 so ideally advance of Stree 2 should be compared with Fighter which sold 1,45,000 tickets in National Chains.
With 4 more days to go there is a good chance that Stree 2 will cross the 2,00,000 mark for 15th August.
While National Chains advances will be the highest for a HINDI Film (2024), the real battle will be to beat Fighter's overall advance of 8 crore (Gross). Looking at the excitement for the film this number should also be crossed.
Stree 2 is all set to beat the Day 1 number of Fighter by a good margin and in all probability it will cross the 30 crore day one as well despite clashing with 2 more movies.
