ADVANCE BOOKING
Update 4 - (Wednesday, 14/8/24 - Morning) Stree 2 has already crossed Fighter to become the top movie in terms of both tickets sales and advance gross for 2024 as the film has sold 3.30 lakh tickrts till now and grossed 11 crore plus in advance sales. With one more day to go film will surely cross 15 crore advance which will take it among the top advance sales post pandemic.
Vedaa is also similar to the Khel Khel Mein numbers as the advance of Vedaa is also around 55 lakhs while it has sold around 22500 tickets till now. Vedaa is also struggling to get any kind of momentum going for it till now and with just one day left, whether advance picks up or not is to be seen.
Khel Khel Mein continues to struggle as the advance bookings have not really picked up till now. With just one day to go it will be interesting to see if there is any kind of momentum shift today or not. The movie has advance sales of 55 lakhs and total tickets sold till now is around 15000.
Update 3 - (Monday, 12/8/24 - Morning) - Stree 2 continues to keep excellent pace as the film has now sold over 1.30 lakh tickets till now and the total collections in advance have already crossed the 4.25 crore mark.
Vedaa also continues to struggle as the film has not shown any kind of big movement in sales till now with overall advance reaching 18.50 lakhs and ticket sales at around 6000 being sold till now.
Khel Khel Mein has not shown any kind of movement in ticket sales till now as the film has sold around 2500 tickets overall with total advance collection of around 10 lakhs.
Update 2 - (Sunday, 11/8/2024 - Evening) - Stree 2 continues to keep the momentum as it has now sold over 75,000 tickets with total advance gross crossing 2.50 crore.
Vedaa has not really picked up much pace from morning as the advances are still slow till now. The total advance has crossed the 12 lakhs with 4100 tickets being sold till now.
Khel Khel Mein has just opened its advance in limited screens so it is too early to judge what kind of response the movie will get. The film has sold around 500 tickets with total advance collection gross is 1.50 lakhs.
Update 1 - (Sunday, 11/8/2024 - Morning) - Stree 2's advance booking which was started on Saturday morning has taken a major lead when it comes to advance bookings as it has sold around 50,000 tickets for Day 1 amounting to Gross Advance of 1.72 crore.
Vedaa on the hand opened its advance bookings on Saturday evening has started on a decent note as it has collected around 7.30 lakhs and has sold around 2600 tickets till Sunday morning.
Khel Khel Mein's advance bookings have not yet started.
SCREEN COUNT
With each film vying for the maximum screens possible the battle screens is as from the early trends Stree 2 is getting major chunk of screens with multiplexes allotting as high as 50-55% of total shows to the film.
The scenario will be clearer once the advance bookings in single screens and the advance of Khel Khel Mein opens.
